You've Got to Love the Perfect Man --- The Gingerbread Man!

Don't forget to sign up for my $75 CSN Code HERE!

A merry greeting to all my Red Couch Recipe readers.  Gingerbread and candy just seem to go with Christmas, don't you think?  Have you ever seen a version of the "The Perfect Man?"  You can chew his ear off or bite his head off to get some relief -- indeed, he is the Perfect Man!  My daughter's church leader made each of the girls, and the lucky boys, a gingerbread boy last week at church and included this poem.  I think they were talking about dating and marriage -- she has a pretty good sense of humor.  She is the author of this poem; she borrowed some phrases from similar poems and added some phrases of her own.  We love you Danielle!  Thanks for being so good with my children!

I also wanted to give a shout out to Gnee at Singing With Birds and her recipe for Colorful Cranberry Barbecued Chicken.  It was the perfect meal for a busy day and only had five ingredients.  I made it on Monday and we all loved it, especially my husband and son!  Just perfect for a busy night.

I had a lot of fun making this with the Wilton gingerbread cookie pan and Ju Ju Candies and M and M's.  I am holding a mother-daughter party for the young girls at my church where each of the mothers and daughters will make one of these together.

Thanks for stopping by my Red Couch where you are always welcome!
