Snowflakes and Hearts Table

Welcome to Red Couch Recipes and to my Snowflakes and Hearts Tablescape.

This was the table I set for our Sunday Dinner.  We served little salads in these cute little heart bowls.  This table mimics our decorations in our home, as we have hearts and snowflakes fused together also.

Each place setting had their own little snowflake votive.

I love the heart designs on these linens

I always like to include a shot looking through a glass.

Oh, I spy some cookies.  These peanut butter kiss cookies are really a favorite with my children.

Just another happy view.  I love to set a red table.  I am sure I have set more red tables than any other tables.  I use the red dinner plates as every day dishes.

Just a shot of the cookies.  I am taking some of them to some friends in little tins.

The cake stands were a gift from my husband.  There are three of them an they stack nicely.  I have yet to make three cakes at one time, but I will some day, and that's a happy thought.

I thank you for visiting Red Couch Recipes.

Joni, Your table is beautiful. I love your goblets and the cookies look great. Red and blue are my favorite colors for tables and for my wardrobe; however, in the garden I like purple/lavender and pink best. Have a lovely weekend!

What a cute table! The little heart bowls are adorable and I'm loving the use of the snowflake accents. The print on the linens is so sweet. I never think to use that hershey kiss cookie recipe for anything except at Christmas. That's a great idea for Valentine's day!

I guess I hadn't realized we are almost into February and should be pulling out something red! Your table is gorgeous, Joni. That red just pops against the white tablecloth. Love the napkins and how you have made a tower with the dessert plates.
Have a wonderful week.

Well, that table fits in with our day! We have had snow all day. Guess we need it and it is pretty but I don't want to go out in it. Did you get any?
The snowflakes look so pretty against the red dishes and I love the snowflake goblets. What a fun table for the family.

What a nice table for your family dinner! Hearts and snowflakes are a great combo. Why haven't I made those cookies lately? We call them Witches Hats and love them.

I love it. I'm working on a table for my luncheon club this coming week. I'm trying to combine a little valentine with a little winter on it. You have given inspiration!

(And I love those kiss cookies. In full confession, though, I admit that I'm the kind who ruins them by stealing kisses.)
