Liberty Blues Fourth of July

Let us hear it for the red, white, and blue this Fourth of July!  Here at the Red Couch Recipes home we are festooned in red, white, and blue.  As some of you know, we moved to the Spokane area.  Much of my things are still in boxes, as we are moving again soon.  Lucky find!  I found my Liberty Blue dinner plates.   I haven't posted a tablescape in ages....

I only have the dinner plates.  Don't you just love the detail on the sides?

I set up the table outside.  A-hem, my husband has been building a 3-D printer on our dining room table.  Good thing we love to eat dinner outside!  I have no intention of using these dinner plates on the 4th of July.  I plan to be somewhere cool on a lake.  Washington has been hot, hot, hot lately.

I love using bandanas as napkins; they are so festive and bright, and it doesn't hurt either that they wash up so well.

Life looked through a bubbly glass is sweeter.

The patio space in this rental home is not like our old deck, but we still eat here almost every night.

Thanks for dropping by my RED COUCH!

Beautiful patriotic setting. I love the Liberty Blue plates. I'm also posting two for the 4th. of July. I do love that pattern.
I'll have to buy me some bandanas in Florida next time, they make the perfect patriotic napkins.
Happy 4th. of July.

Joni, it's great to see a new tablescape post from you, and the fact that it is red, white, and blue only makes it better. I have dinner plates in the Liberty Blue pattern, but mine are packed in boxes in storage. We are in limbo about a move, so I decided not to bring things back from storage. I miss setting a table with our red, white, and blue things, so seeing yours makes my heart sing. Thank you!
I'm going to add some of your photos to my Pinterest Board, Hooray for the Red, White, and Blue.
Where are you moving to?
Hope you have a happy 4th of July.

Hi Joni. Love you table! I just love transfer ware. It's so traditional and I love the bandannas with it.

The transfer ware is so pretty with all it's details. It looks lovely with your accents. Using bandanas is so smart! Truly a very pretty festive table for the upcoming holiday.

Oh boy that is a lot of work to have to move again but I'm sure it's worth the effort! We were in Portland Oregon the beginning of June when the first wave of heat started. I can't believe how long this has been going on especially since the temps there and in your area shouldn't be so hot until August. I guess it's a year for the records! Love your pretty transfware. Using the bandanas is a super cute idea! I agree looking at life through the bubbly glass is sweeter! I hope you find a nice cool spot at the lake and enjoy the holiday weekend!

Love your table Joni! It looks bright and fun, just like you picture the Fourth of July to be. We have had so much rain, so I am hoping the weekend weather is nice. Love the casual bandanas with the more formal transfer ware - it just works for this patriotic setting. Enjoy the holiday weekend!
