Welcome to Red Couch Recipes! So glad you dropped by today to take a peek at my Easter on the Deck Tablescape. The weather has been beautiful here, and we can finally set a table on our deck. For this Easter table we brought out our charming footed egg cups.
I found these years ago at a local grocery store. Don't you just love the "ducky" shoes? I have five different egg cups. Of course, I wish I could have bought more!
I used my everyday dinner plates with some green salad plates that kind of remind me of lilly pads. The color theme we were aiming for was yellow and green, the wonderfuol colors of spring.
My husband brough home some potted daffodils so I put them to use on this table as my centerpiece. I love the vibrant yellow "bubbble" glasses with the vibrant yellow daffodils.
Daffodils are my favorite spring flower.
The "chocolate" bunnies look like they are munching on the pot. They behave so much better than real chocolate bunnies; they don't melt in the sun.
When I use "bubbly" glasses, I always like to include a shot looking through the glasses.
Here is another one of the precious egg cups -- do you prefer tennis shoes?
I hope you are "hopping" to it with your Easter preparations! Thanks for dropping by Red Couch Recipes.

Those egg cups are just too precious. No, the ducky shoes are my favorites too. I agree, once you enjoy something like these and the family grows you sure wish you had more but these are so cute you could use them for decorations even if you didn't have enough for one apiece. I love your yellow and green together and I agree with you on the daffodils! They just bring joy don't they!
Love those egg cups! I am so surprised there are not more available these days! Yours are SO adorable! I LOVE daffodils too, my favorite are the OLD FASHIONED BIG YELLOW ones! I plan to SOMEDAY have thousands of them planted out there in my yard(I can dream!). Your little nibbler bunnies are TOO CUTE!
Happy Easter Joni,

Your husband actually brought home potted plants??!?!?!! I don't know that mine can tell a daffodil from a dandelion! Your hubby scores big ol' brownie points for that one! Great "chocolate" bunnies and I love the little egg cups. We ALWAYS wish we would have bought more, don't we? :-) Have a wonderful Easter weekend, Joni!

Joni, your little footed egg cups are soooo adorable!! They are unusual too, which makes them even more special. We have only daffodils blooming right now in my yard, but the flowering trees are beginning to bud. Happy Easter! Linda
