Let It Snow Tablescape

Welcome to Red Couch Recipes!

I took a vacation from tablescaping for a month or so and I am glad to be back!

Today I bring a "Let it Snow" tablescape to hopefully help bring on some snow.  We have only had one snow storm this year, and I have missed the snow soooo much!  January is the month for snowmen for us.  We put away Christmas and bring out snowmen.  It makes our home not seem so bare after Christmas.

This table features these cute snow plates that I found at Wal-Mart on clearance last year.

Love these cute "furry" snowflakes.

I always love using these red "berry" napkin rings.

This snowman cookie jar serves as a cheery centerpiece on a dark and dreary day here in Utah.

I borrowed this sign hanging on a wall in our home.  Please, can we have some snow?

I always like to include a glass view when I set my table with bubble glasses.

The full view of the table.

Table Information

Red Plates, Snow Plates, Placemats Napkin,  Candlesticks:  Wal-Mart
Bubble Glasses:  Tai Pan Trading
Flatware:  Cost Plus
Snowman Cookie Jar:  Target, years past

Thanks for dropping by Red Couch Recipes!

I had noticed your break from tablescaping, and I'm glad to see you back. I always love your tables. This one is no exception. I love the way both the "furry" snowflakes and berry napkin rings give texture to the table.

I leave snowmen out in January too!

I took a break from tablescaping also, and it's funny that we both chose a red and white table with snowmen this week!

It snowed here again today, so this tablescape would be perfect here!

So glad you are back! I have to admit that posting anything in January was really hard this year. Thanks for posting for me. I actually took my ipad along and got right in but she didn't have the icon up and when I finally got it again you had already posted!

No snow here today either even though they said it. Chase tried to go skiing since they didn't have school and he froze and came home.

Love your snow tablescape. Those plates are so cute! We have had very little snow this year. Don't know what is up with that! I love the snow theme during the winter. So pretty! With the red it looks so warm and cozy!

I hope you get your wish for snow! Your table is all ready -- love those darling salad plates. I don't know why I never see cute things like that at our Walmart. The whole table is bright and cheery!

What is with that message above? I am seeing it all over blogland!

The table is adorable! Love your plates and cute snowman centerpiece!
I am so happy we have escaped snow, it makes life so difficult for handicapped people.
Maybe some could fall just on your house! :)

It was 70º here on the prairie the day before yesterday. The windsurfers were screaming across the lake and having a ball. Cold today, and we're looking at the 70's for the weekend. Oklahoma is always a surprise when it comes to weather. The snowmen are whimsical perfection. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

Hi, Joni! Welcome back!!! You guys aren't getting any of that snow that is pounding the NW? I guess I just figured it would start drifting S and E. Well, if it comes to Kansas City, I'll gladly send it back to you! :-) We have not had much here at all this year, either (less than an inch), and we're happy about it! I hope you had a good Christmas and a fun New Year! The bright colors and fun snowmen on your table certainly extend that joyous feeling of the holidays without being necessarily Christmas-y. Very nice! Glad to see you back! Have a good weekend, and here's wishing you lot of the powdery stuff! :-)
