I think I am in love! Yes, it's bold and it's bright and it screams at you, but I love combining turquoise and red. Warning: Brightness alert, please use your sunglasses.
I made you some cookies to match. We pack home lunches for our children; many of my creations go in their lunches -- some of the cookies, such as these, are conversation starters at lunch. Click HERE for the posting on these cookies.
Here's the simple place setting. I love the "hobnail"- style bowls. I found them on clearance at Michael's around Valentine's Day (50 cents). The coral napkin rings give a nice POP to the table. The turquoise plates were a Dollar Store find several years ago.
Another view of the table featuring the cookies lollipops.
For those with a good memory -- YES, this is the third week in a row I have used the red pots as a centerpiece -- YIKES! The red pots inspired me as one night we were dining on the deck with these turquoise plates and I loved the look of the red and turquoise together. It was a serendipitous moment - don't you just love that word?
Here's my bubble shot view; I like to view my world through a bubbly glass ;).
I hope you enjoyed my RED and TURQUOISE TABLE today. Thanks for dropping by my RED COUCH!

Those coral napkin rings are divine! I have some coral jewelry that I bought in Hawaii and I love it! I am going to have to look out for these in the shops here in summer.
Hope you are enjoying the warmer weather. Looks like you will be doing lots of outdoor entertaining this summer? Can't wait to see what you do!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
I love the bold and bright too. The red and turquoise really go together nicely. Those hobnail bowls are really fantastic, what a great texture and in fun red too.
I bet those fun creations you put in the kid's lunches make all the other kids jealous. Do they trade their treats for anything at school? Too fun. We haven't eaten outside yet except for one day while working in the garden with the grandkids and we had a PB&J lunch! Too cold.
Whoever might sit at this table wouldn't be able to keep from smiling!
I am so in love with this turquoise color right now. Red is always my favorite! I love how bright and cheery this table is. It definitely says come and sit and eat and enjoy!
I love these colors together!! Gorgeous:)
As I mentioned on the cookie post, I LOVE the red and turquoise together, Joni! Your table looks so inviting. I love the red pots too, so use them as many times as you want, it's okay with me:)
Your kids are probably so happy when they open their lunches:)
LOVE the red and blue!!! FUN table!!! YUMMY treats!
Fun colors Joni and I love the napkin rings! Your little centerpiece plants still look happy and healthy-enjoy! I might just make that my moto "I love to view my world through a bubbly glass":@)
Joni, what a fabulous color combo! You've inspired me to try it, as my sister just gave me some turquoise placemats and napkins. Your red pots are so versatile! I'll bet your kids are the envy of their classmates at lunchtime!
That's a completely unique color combination, and it really pops. I'm a huge lover of turquoise and love the way it combines with all kinds of colors that I might never have thought of before. I love it on the table with the red. You make me want to try that on my kitchen table.
I love that color combo too... so cheerful!
It is bold and bright but I just love the two colors together.
What a fun, summertime color scheme! I have turquoise napkins, and now you've given me a new idea of how to use them!! Thanks for sharing!
Love this combination in clothes or tablescape! I bought a picnic basket with red and turquiose, yellow and lime and it's inspired me to make most of our outside entertaining things this year those colors. So summery and bright. We are STILL having cold nights and rainy days :o( springtime, where are you???

Joni, turquoise has long been one of my favorite colors. Mix it with lapis or coral and I'm in Heaven. Now I can add red. Love it! Beautiful table. Do your children know how lucky they are?????
