Zoulah's Pet "Glo-Mo's"

Welcome to Zoulah's Bewitchen Kitchen!

When Zoulah spied her witchie eyes on Hostess Glo-Balls, she knew she wanted to make some Glo-Monsters or "Glo-Mo's."  She had a bunch of candy leftover from her Gingerbread Home, her Bewitchen Kitchen and her Candy Skewers, so she made some little pet monsters.  Which one do you like best?

Zoulah's Kitchen Notes:  She used a bit of buttercream frosting to "glue" on the candy.  If you use mini-marshallows, they are easier to work with if they are stale.  She used a Wilton "grass tip" for the hair of one of the monsters.  She also used a thick skewer to poke holes in the Glo-Ball before inserting the licorice hair or candy corns.  She also used a bit of buttercream on the tips of the licorice and candy to stick better.

She hopes you will make some pet monsters with your "pet monsters" today!

Zoulah thanks you for dropping by the Red Couch today.

Easy and Scary Halloween Cupcakes

Welcome to Zoulah's Bewitchen Kitchen!
Zoulah is back bringing very simple cupcakes to make for Halloween!  She saved some cupcakes from the Moldy Mummy cupcakes, and whipped up some frosting and just added worms for "Worms in the Dirt" and eyes for "Ogre Eyes."

These are fast and simple to take to a Halloween party this season.

Zoulah wants you to take a look at that cute little orangie worm!  He/she has a little smiley face and eyes! She wants to tell you that as she scarfed  politely ate gummy worms before she never noticed they had little faces.  She apologizes to the other worms for burying their faces in dirt.  Maybe the greenie guy to the far right has his face out of the dirt -- Zoulah is not sure.

Zoulah thanks you for dropping by Red Couch Recipes where Zoulah always has more tricks and treats in her apron!

Zoulah's Bewitchen Kitchen

Zoulah would like to welcome you to her Bewitchen Kitchen!

Zoulah has tidied it up a bit.  I told her to clean up the cobwebs before the photo shoot, but you know how
stubborn witches can be.  She also wants to leave a home for Leggs, her pet spider.

In Zoulah's Bewitchen Kitchen, she has gathered together all of her favorite ingredients like Tooth Decay and Cob Webs!

One of the most powerful ingredients are her Poisoned Candy Skewers.  Kids just can't resist them!

She also has bat dung and ogre eyes in her kitchen.  There are also 'Red Veins" in the background.

Perhaps your "resident" witch would like to make a "Bewitchen Kitchen."  I am going to let you in on the "secrets" about Zoulah's Bewitchen Kitchen ingredients.  Shhh!  Please don't tell Zoulah, she likes to think that, in some small part, she is a scary witch.

Red Veins -- Red Vines
Bat Dung -- Black Bat Dots
Witch Warts -- Greet Ghost Dots
Pixie Poison -- Pixie Sticks
Cob Webs -- Cotton Candy
Poisoned Candy Skewers -- Candy Skewers
Ogre Eyes -- Chocolate Foil Eyes
Worms -- Gummy Worms
Tarantulas -- Gummy Tarantulas
Tooth Decay -- Candy Corn
Ghost Body Parts -- Miniature Marshmallows

Zoulah's  Kitchen Notes:

Many of the candies were already bought for use in other projects in the Red Couch Home.  I scoured the Red Couch home to find containers to use.  I used varied items, such as a mini plate to a Halloween goblet.
